These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RenewBook (the "app"), provided by the developer of RenewBook, operating as Northbook Software. By creating an account or using RenewBook, you agree to these Terms.
RenewBook helps you track recurring subscriptions and tool spend, see your total spend across services, and get reminders before renewals. It is a tracking and organizational tool — RenewBook does not have access to your actual bank accounts, cards, or payment methods, and cannot cancel or modify your real-world subscriptions on your behalf. All subscription information in the app is entered and maintained by you.
RenewBook provides organizational and informational tools, including spend totals and overlap detection between subscriptions you've entered. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Decisions about which subscriptions to keep, cancel, or change are entirely yours.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
The prices, renewal dates, and totals shown in RenewBook are only as accurate as what you (or the app's built-in catalog of typical prices, used only as a starting suggestion) enter. We don't independently verify this information against your actual bank or subscription accounts, and RenewBook is not liable for charges, missed cancellations, or financial decisions made based on information in the app.
RenewBook offers a free plan with a limited number of tracked subscriptions, and a paid "Pro" plan that removes that limit and unlocks additional features. Pro subscriptions are billed and processed through Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store, subject to their respective terms. Subscription pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation are managed through your Google Play or Apple App Store account, not directly through RenewBook.
You agree not to: use RenewBook for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or to RenewBook's systems; reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app's normal operation; or use the app in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
You may stop using RenewBook and delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
RenewBook is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that renewal reminders will always be delivered on time — notification delivery can be affected by your device's operating system, settings, or connectivity, and should not be relied upon as your only method of tracking upcoming charges.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RenewBook and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including missed subscription cancellations, unexpected charges, or reliance on information shown in the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where required, notify you in the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
